About Andrea
I am an image-maker. I make marks on paper and canvas and they all seem to reveal a hidden story. The stories? They are from things that engaged me and those things are wide-ranging. I am fortunate to live along a spectrum that goes from curiosity to awe. The world is rich with possibilities. I attempt to take advantage of this in my work and tend to dive deeply into the series of things that interest me at that time. When I am in Philly, I paint Philly. In Maine, I paint Maine. Etc.
My world view supports all this. My life takes its shape from the backdrop of my ancient Jewish heritage that has valued human life uniquely, and my worship of the One who made it all. In today's world, specifically, I strive to infuse my days and initiatives with all the means.
