When there were Farms
WHEN THERE WERE FARMS
9X12 ORIGINAL
Prints available in many sizes
One of the best things about Maine
in the Summer is the family farms.
We take the truck out to the
farm stands for fresh eggs, produce,
breads, chicken and beef -- all of
which were growing or roaming in
the sturdy fields of this special place.
But the farms of America are vanishing.
I wish I could protect them with more
than this drawing.
“Agriculture is the most healthful, most useful
and most noble employment of man.”
